Carr Bank
Our main site, on land let to the trust by Mansfield District Council on a peppercorn ground rent. Open at all hours; tool library and central storage shed on site.
Community impact
The trust touches a small slice of Mansfield, deeply rather than widely. This page lays out, in plain numbers and named partners, how that work shows up in the community.
Where the work lands
We measure ourselves in plots let, kilos delivered, hours given, and metres of hedge laid. The figures below come from our 2024–25 reporting year unless otherwise noted.
Places we work in
Our area of benefit is the ancient parish of Mansfield as it stood in 1916. The four named places below cover almost everything we do.

Site · 52 plots
A smaller, older site behind the old library, in the centre of the parish. Mostly half-plots, popular with first-time tenants who want to walk to their plot.
Office
The upper room is our trustees' meeting place and the tenancy office. Hired by the hour, paid for in cash from the running budget.
Delivery point
The Mansfield foodbank that takes our Common Plot produce each Friday from July to first frost, on average 34 weeks of the year.
